Is that a new house on the block? Nope, it’s just a new roof! If you’ve made 2020 the year for home improvement projects, you might want to consider starting with your roof. We understand that there’s a lot of time, thought, and money that goes into each home renovation, which is why our experts at ProFormance Roofing are here to guide you through the process! We’ve outlined five different roofing options for you so that you can find the perfect fit for your home and family. So what are you waiting for? Find out how you can instantly upgrade the curb appeal of your home!

Asphalt shingles

Asphalt shingles have dominated the market in the United States for decades, primarily because they are affordable, easy to install, and compatible with many architectural styles. However, their popularity has diminished as more durable and energy-efficient options arise.

Clay and concrete tiles

If you are looking for beautiful and tasteful roofing, you may want to consider clay and concrete tiles. These long-lasting tiles are non-combustible and energy-efficient! But, before you fall in love with this option, confirm with a professional that your home can sustain this type of roofing—each tile is quite heavy.

Metal roofing

Consider metal roofing if you’re looking for a sleek, modern, and recyclable option. Metal is versatile, comes in dozens of different colors and styles, and it looks excellent on cabins, bungalows, and contemporary homes. Compared to other roofing options, this material lasts the longest at up to 75 years, but it comes at a cost. Installing this type of roof is not cheap!

Slate is high quality, long-lasting, and offers a stylish appearance that fits well with Colonial, European, and French chateau homes. This is the heaviest material you can use for roofing, which means you’ll most likely need to install additional framework to ensure your roof is sustainable.

Green roofs

Also known as living roofs, this style comes with a layer of vegetation planted on the surface of your roof. Here in the United States, we’ve seen green roofs growing in popularity atop major commercial buildings. Although green roofs may not be a viable option for your home, there are other ways you can be more eco-friendly, such as using recycled roofing material.

Very Fast and Honest

I had Bruce give me a quote on my roof he was very honest and not pushing me to do or sign anything. Proformance roofing worked well with me and my insurance company. The job was completed in one day. The guys cleaned up well. Thanks.

Great job by all

A great job by all involved, Bruce in sales to the roofing crew and their site manager Joe. I was told 1 day for completion, and they pulled it off. The only thing I can fault them for was the cleanup of the nails. In their defence, the crew ran out of daylight, but 1 call the Bruce and he had the crew out the next day to pick up the leftover nails

Got the job done fast.

I RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE LOOKING FOR A ROOFING COMPANY. Frank was quick to reply to me, quick to come out and give an estimate to one of my customers selling his home and even better yet got the job done fast. When everyone else wanted to sell him a new roof (which was only 6 years old) Frank did the repair that was needed and left a happy seller!
